Introduction

Hello, I’m Kassadee. During my childhood, going out to dinner was a special treat for us. Whether it was a celebration of many sorts or a special family gathering, we loved to try new foods and restaurants. If my mom tried something in a restaurant, a lot of the time she would try to make it at home and make it better. So my mother trained the pallets of my siblings and I at a young age. We know the difference between real mashed potatoes or boxed, canned green beans or fresh, etc. So our taste in food is sometimes different than others. As a young adult in college, I have to choose wisely based off of my budget, that’s what I hope to show in this blog. With the small variety of food in Topeka at a great prices, where the best place for Chinese or Mexican, but also show the places that are good for Saturday breakfast, first dates or where to get the best wings for your super bowl party. But of course with the occasional splurge.
